First 5 steps to start your self-improvement journey

If you're not satisfied with your life, you're in the right place. And If you're fully satisfied with the way you live, then you're in the right place too because I'm going to change the way you think.

There's no doubt that you should be grateful for what you have, but you shouldn't miss any opportunity to improve and make another step towards freedom.

We all should have that fire inside us, that pushes us to make some enhancements or some modifications in order to achieve more in our life. That fire is called self-improvement.

Believe me, that journey is a life changer.

That's why I'm writing you this short self-improvement guide as an introduction to this journey. After reading this, you'll have a clear view of some practical steps that will help you improve yourself, achieve more and become more productive.

Set Clear Goals

I'm not saying that this steo is a MUST from the beginning, but at a certain level, you need to get it done. Being Goal-oriented will save you huge time and effort. As you won't be wasting them on diverse purposes that you won't keep all of them through your journey. However, choosing clear and well-defined ones will help you get profit from every small amount of energy you put into these goals. You will get rid of that feeling of being lost and not knowing what to do.

Develop a (Morning) Routine

A routine saves you a lot. the more your routine is defined, the less time and mental effort you waste thinking of what to do and how to spend your day. In fact, a consistent morning routine sets the productive tone for the rest of your day. When you set certain habits that you're staying stick to every day, you'll start doing them systematically and you'll get profit of their benefits.

Learn Continuously

Knowledge is a powerful tool for personal growth. No one can deny that. That's why your learning journey should never know an end. Of course, academic knowledge is necessary, but not enough. You have to build a certain bank of knowledge to boost your stepping pace towards your goals. You can acquire that knowledge by attending online courses, listening to podcasts, reading books or participating in workshops. Even now, you're learning by reading this article. Once you become a learning addict, you'll figure out more things along your way to success.

Practice Gratitude

With all the stress you're dealing with, you need to poor all that out. There are different ways you can clarify your mind. One of them is writing, especially journaling which is my favourite. You can write down any reflections, ideas, events, thoughts and you will have a clear vision of what you really feel. If you're not a writing fan, you can records voice notes of you taking and listen to them later. You can records videos as well. Whatever the way you reflect yourself, you'll feel a huge improvement in your focus.

Improve Time Management

When talking about productivity, Time is a key factor. Thus, the way you manage your time will certainly define whether you will achieve more and have a time to rest and enjoy your moments of break, or you will spend all your time dealing with time-wasting activities without even achieving them. That's why you should prioritise obligatory and high-revenue tasks. We're not talking about only money here, but about any tasks that give the better outcome and you'll get rewarded the most compared to other actions.

That's not everything. As I said, self-improvement is a whole journey that may never have an end. That's why you should enjoy the process and having writing your own success story and stepping towards your glory. You can start by these practicals steps, you may face some difficulties integrating them in your lifestyle. But they're worth trying. Give them a chance and see the outcome yourself...
